Coach sir did a trial on the same evening and confirmed that I was on the team.

Though I was very nervous by that point, our strategy worked and all the defenders concentrated on Mohsin and largely ignored me. They never knew what has happened until Mohsin passed the ball to me and I scored in the last minute. But I can tell you this, their faces expressed a lot of anger while we couldn’t stop smiling! It’s been a year since that day and I still credit my sneakers shoes to help me win as they allowed me to run like lightning that day and gave me the much-needed confidence.
